I must admit that we haven't had any major problems with games 'hanging' so far. Occasionally the site freezes but it hasn't spoiled the children's pleasure.

Your point about Moshi Monsters, however, has opened my eyes to a potential problem. As far as I am aware, none of our pupils have signed up to the site. But, of courese, they could have and just not told me about it. Thank you for raising the issue and I hope the site doesn't create problems of this type for other pupils and teachers.James Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04780090055824462978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4877356455544488642.post-33977044031072679322010-02-17T21:31:53.530+00:002010-02-17T21:31:53.530+00:00I have used Tutpup with some classes and have foun...I have used Tutpup with some classes and have found it very useful but with a few hiccups regarding children not being able to finish games or see their results because the game "hangs".
It also led to a big surge of children signing up to Moshi Monsters which is also run by Mind Candy and linked to from the Tutpup home page. This did create some problems within our school community in regards the social networking aspect of the site. Some of the children used the site to bully and tease others. The children signed up at home, used it at home but the problems came to school with the children.Crafty Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13011974931084001157noreply@blogger.com
