Gutted. What a shame.
In the end, us Liverpool fans can't complain too much. You don't win matches by controlling the possession, like we found out tonight. You win matches by scoring goals, and although there's were a little lucky, at least they scored.
We did really well to get to the final twice in two years. Very few teams have done that in the last ten years.
Next year I'd like Benitez to concentrate on the Premier League. We last won it in 1990. 18 years will be too long, way too long...
