In tonight's meeting quite badly attended - only 5 of us - we discussed various issues concerning Deputy Heads. We thought about our training needs. I have had no specific training for being a Deputy Head.
I need training in finance, people management and curriculum monitoring as well as lots of other things. I decided against applying for the NPQH this time but I do need to gather more experience. Does anyone know anything about the Leadership Pathways that I've heard about?
